Hmm maybe all the epowers are made by Tagan. Same case and cables (almost) as my OCZ. The split rails concern me though.

How do those split rails work?

epower makes all the power supplies. tagan is not the maker, but a model name.

the need for split rails is due to intel's new 12v v2.0 standard. it helps feed power more stably. there are two independent 12v rails. one is specifically only for the 12v 4pin, which is for the cpu. the other rails is for the rest of the components, like video card and hds and such. when you have a power hungry cpu like the prescott and pair it up with a power hungry video card, let's say the 6800 ultra, a single rail can't hold as well. the split will be better

I've heard differently. Also the parts in and out are labeled as Tagan. And Tagan is also a company www.tagan.com I could be wrong!
