As some of you may have heard, the board that's in my sig is dead. *And I can't find ANY for sale

I would like a replacement recommendation. Only requirements:
Socket A
Pc133 SDR
mATX form factor
AGP port
Anything else is extra. SATA and a PCIe-x1 would be nice but not necessary.
*Currently have Athlon 1200 and wanting possibility to upgrade to AthlonXP.

Thanks in advance.
*I know that there are other mATX boards that are a ton better, but this is what I have.

Try eBay..........that's an oooold board. Also, you won't get PCIe of any flavor on an AGP board, period. SATA you might get two ports, along with the usual four IDE device capability.

THE reference for this board:
http://radel.inet.net.nz/m810lmr.html

here's one. bit pricy though.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC-CHIPS-M810LMR-XP-DESKTOP-BOARD-SOCKET-462-LAN-VGA-_W0QQitemZ280395242009QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxq20091010?IMSfp=TL091010142001r36101

however, when searching with its new name (they leave out the MR these days, all those board had them), there's another one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC-Chips-M810L-AMD-Pro-1800-256-Memory-VGA_W0QQitemZ170401376204QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motherboards_CPUs?hash=item27acb6a7cc

so, they are around but under a different name, maybe you can find an ECS relabeled one (K7SOM it's called?), as long as it has the same SiS730 chipset you should be pretty ok.

I've found a few more, mostly variations of the PCChips models already posted, and the one thing they all have in common is no actual AGP slot, just soldered over holes where a slot and controller chip would go. Typical for mATX boards of that timeframe, they weren't meant to be upgradable, really. If you can get away with slow onboard graphics........

Yeah, they were meant for home theater boxes.

Not as much a mITX, but still.

I, however, like how small they are for a desktop computer. The computer I am on right now, HP a6119h, is mATX form factor.

*Whoa, $35US. And the other one has integrated processor.

Which brings me to 2 questions:

1. This one has bugged me for a while now. Can an AGP card go into PCIe x16 slot? I have heard of combo slots, but, in general, can it?

2. Honestly, I just thought of this one. If you were to go to the trouble to put a socket in yourself, could you add your own processor? I've seen people put in PCI sockets, seems resonable.

1. No, AGP in a PCIe slot is impossible. There were a few boards that had both slots, but they didn't work very well, as the PCIe slot was piggybacked onto the AGP data buss. Slow, inefficient, and really a waste of money. These same boards also had slots for either PC133 RAM or DDR RAM, but again, the faster was piggybacked on the slower, and not very efficient at all. Boards of that nature lasted about six months on the market, and were never sold again.

2. If you mean pull the embedded CPU out via desoldering, and install a regular CPU socket, probably not. The pin spacing on the socket is different than what is actually soldered to the board, and you would be missing a few key components for everything to work properly. You could, however, desolder the embedded proc, and as long as its standard pin layout, solder a new, upgraded proc in, but you'd have to be VERY careful with the heat, and dead on with your bead, otherwise you'll be shorting pins left and right.
