AMD FX-55/4000+ CPU Review :: 3DMark 2001SE and 2003

Futuremark's 3Dmark series of tests were developed using proprietary software engines that test the overall power of both your VGA and CPU working together. These tests have been known to be susceptible to driver enhancements by the chipmakers and NVIDIA has more than once been caught with their pants down over this issue. At the moment I believe the drivers being used are okay and since we are not comparing VGA cards the scores can be relied on in any case to compare CPU power.
