My estimation of this board is the K8VNXP is something I can recommend if you are not looking to radically overclock your system, but want a solid reliable board from a company that has a reputation for quality. This is another board that really is a good board, but it just falls shy of an Editors Choice Award due to its features being about on par with the other boards in this class. Its performance is just fine though and the scores were so close by all the boards but the SOYO, that in this group it’s just not "The" best. There are some stand-out features like the Power Conditioning and new IEEE1394b that make it very appealing to certain user groups. For those of that rank and file you will not be disappointed with the K8VXNP. Overall the K8VNXP is a pretty good entry board for the Athlon 64 platform from the folks at GIGABYTE.
