ASUS uses the standard American Megatrends BIOS for their P5DL2-VM board.has Ai overclocking. The Ai overclocking uses a chip on the motherboard to intelligently determine if an overclock is safe. There are 4 modes of overclocking, Auto, Manual, Standard and Overclock Profile. Overclock Profile sets the overclock from 5%-30% in 5% increments.
Unfortunately, our 3.4GHz Pentium4 Extreme Edition CPU is not suitable for overclocking. Under the best of conditions, our CPU overclocks a maximum of 10%. In this environment, the ASUS P5LD2-VM overclocks well, with an overclock of 10% stable. ASUS overclock profile above 10% would cause problems with booting, with this CPU. The CPU FSB can be modified from 100-400MHz by entering in the number. PCI Express frequency can be set from 90MHz-150MHz in 1MHz increments. Memory voltage can be set from 1.812 or 1.904V. The CPU voltage can be set from 1.475V-1.700V in 0.125V increments.
