SLI Bridge

GIGABYTE has really gone all-out with the hardware bundle for the motherboard. There are three 2-port USB 2.0 brackets bringing the total on the board to 8. A Firewire port is also included on one of the USB 2.0 brackets. Also included is a SLI bridge. NVIDIA has not enabled SLI on non-SLI motherboards in the drivers as of yet, so this inclusion is interesting.

e-SATA bracket

SATA devices are becoming more and more important today, replacing IDE devices. GIGABYTE decided to include an e-SATA bracket, or external SATA. This bracket holds the power and four more SATA ports (two on the front of the bracket, two on the rear of the bracket) bringing the total on the board again to 8.

Audio jack bracket

The software bundle is very extensive. There are three CDs in the bundle, a Driver CD, a Bonus CD with Cyberlink's Power2GO and PowerProducer, as well as Internet Security 2005, and a DTS demo CD to show off the Creative SB Live onboard audio. Installing drivers is a simple matter with GIGABYTE's Xpress Install program.
