ATI is known as one of the biggest graphics card companies around, but they have also entered other markets, including motherboard chipsets, gaming consoles, handheld graphics chips and more. Last quarter, ATI had over $652.3 million USD in revenue. Today, ATI manufactures a Previous ATI motherboard chipsets have included the RADEON IGP320, the 9100, the RADEON Xpress 200 and the Xpress 3200 chipsets.

Elite Computer Systems is a company that many enthusiasts wouldn't even consider a few years ago. Their focus on the mainstream motherboard market cost them in the eyes of most hardware enthusiasts. Recently, ECS has decided to cater to the high-end of the market as well with better designs, higher performing motherboards. Today I'm reviewing the ECS KA3-MVP Extreme Crossfire motherboard based upon ATI's Crossfire Xpress 3200 chipset. ECS lists it on their website as the KA3-MVP V1.0a, with the Extreme moniker meant for the high-end enthusiast added to the retail box.
