Hardware bundle

Abit decided to go the full-out route with the hardware bundle of the AB9 Pro board. Nine SATA cables, matching the total on the board, are included. One thing that's not included is SATA power cables, but most PSUs today have SATA power as standard. If you need more than the PSU provides, you'll need to make an additional purchase. The USB port bracket brings the total USB ports to 6 with a single firewire port.

The software side of things, on the other hand, is less spectacular. abit decided to include four SATA driver floppies, a welcome addition to any bundle, but the drivers CD has the drivers, abit's uGuru utility and a few applications like Adobe Acrobat Reader and DirectX 9.0c. I'm used to seeing anti-virus software as part of a motherboard bundle. The manuals are always well thought out and informative and there are three of them for this board.
